Comet is awarded the preconstruction phase 1 contract with Skanska on the East San Fernando Transit Corridor Project.
Comet completes a mission-critical project at LAX Terminal 6 with Turner Construction. The electrical infrastructure was upgraded while the terminal was operational.
Comet is awarded the biggest contract to date at LAX from the LINXS joint venture on the Automated People Mover Project. Comet’s first-ever P3 project.
Comet breaks ground on LACMTA - Purple Line Extension Phase 1 at the La Brea station for the Skanska-Traylor-Shea joint-venture.
Comet moves from the Deering office to its current location on Prairie Avenue with a 10,000-square-foot prefabrication facility.
Comet wins the SBX E Street Corridor with Griffith Company as a joint venture. The 81.3-million-dollar project was completed for Omnitrans on time and under budget.
Comet is awarded the electrical scope LACMTA - Venice/Robertson station on the Expo line for Balfour Beatty Infrastructure.
Comet is awarded a 17-million-dollar New High School Valley Region #5 project for LAUSD with Turner Construction as the general contractor.
Jason Pennington becomes CFO.
Comet completes first major LAWA project at LAX. The project was called Taxiway “C” for Kiewit Corporation.
Adam Saitman buys the company from his parents Joyce & Joel Saitman. Adam becomes CEO and owner of Comet Electric Inc.
